It just so happens that all of my favorite movies have all of my favorite still shots, movie posters, and edgy characters. Most of my beloved directors- Terry Gilliam, Quentin Terrentino, Darren Aronofsky, Tim Burton, & David Fincher- all have a common theme. Creepy, edgy, disturbing. Art is art. What attracts a demographic in film will most likely attract the same demographic in any other medium.
